From Class 4 to Class 10, I studied at Sree Vaagdevi High School. Some places stay with you. Sree Vaagdevi High School is one of them.

It had a huge impact on me in every aspect of life. Seven years later, I walked out with something I couldn't fully grasp back then — but now, when I think about my school days, I realize it built me a solid foundation.

One of the biggest standouts of this school is its faculty. Madhukumar Sir, my Telugu teacher, is one of the best teachers I have come across in my life — someone who constantly pushed and encouraged me to clear the hardest hurdles. That kind of attention from a teacher is rare. It changes how you see yourself.

The discipline here isn't enforced — it's absorbed. Slowly, through years of small habits and high expectations, the school shapes you in ways you only recognize later — perhaps when you are in the toughest phase of your life.

I am now a graduate of AIIMS New Delhi, which felt like a distant dream back then. But with the consistent effort and discipline I had built along the way, it was achievable. Looking back, that path was being built quietly, classroom by classroom, right here at Sree Vaagdevi High School.

I personally believe this is a school that remembers your child's name and genuinely invests in their potential. It's worth it.

Studied at Sree Vaagdevi High School from 6th to 10th standard. Almost a decade later, I can say my high school years built the foundation for everything that followed.

Honest confession: I wasn't a student who studied regularly at home. What kept me afloat — and eventually helped me score well — were the weekly exams conducted in this school. They helped me revise the lessons in a way that felt natural. Even without sitting down with my books at home, hearing lessons in class once and then revising for those weekly tests was enough to make concepts stick. That single practice did more for my fundamentals than any coaching class could have.

What's rare about this school is that every teacher knows every student — not just by name, but by what each child is struggling with, where they're improving, what motivates them. Under Principal Malathi Ma'am's guidance, the teachers genuinely invest in each student's discipline, motivation, and long-term growth. They guide you to work hard for your own future, not just for the next exam. That kind of personal attention is something I didn't appreciate enough as a student, but I see it very clearly now.

Study hours were another quiet strength. Teachers made themselves available to clear doubts — patiently, without bias, for every student who asked. It didn't matter if you were a top ranker or a backbencher; you got the same time and effort.

Sree Vaagdevi High School also conducts a variety of technical and cultural events through the year, and these aren't filler activities. They genuinely motivate students to come to school, build confidence, and stay engaged with learning. For a kid like me, who wasn't naturally inclined to sit and study, these events kept school exciting — which made it easier to absorb everything else that was being taught.

I went on to clear JEE and complete my B.Tech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering at NIT Calicut. I've now been working in a corporate firm for over four years. At every stage of that journey, I've drawn from habits my school quietly built into me — the discipline of consistent revision, the confidence of being heard by teachers who cared, the work ethic of showing up.

To parents reading this: if your child isn't a natural studier (like I wasn't), Sree Vaagdevi High School's system — weekly exams, personal attention from teachers, events that keep school enjoyable — is exactly what works. My success in the SSC examinations is the result of the constant guidance and encouragement I received from Sree Vaagdevi High School, Mallapur. The IIT Foundation program, fortnightly tests, and OMR-based practice exams prepared me to perform well under pressure.

Hello everyone, I'm Pranavi Toka, currently in Class 12 and a NEET aspirant. I studied at Sree Vaagdevi High School. Our Correspondent Sir is one of the greatest strengths of our school. He is very supportive and treats every student equally.
